ONTARIO >> A crash between a tractor trailer carrying wine and a second tractor trailer hauling 70,000 of beef has snarled traffic on the 60 Freeway near Ontario Tuesday.

The crash was first reported around 12:30 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway near Haven Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Devon Boatman.

The slow lane of the freeway was blocked and is expected to remain closed until a large tow truck can removed the damaged vehicles from the freeway, he said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, but a Sig Alert was issued for the area. Motorists were advised to avoid the freeway if possible.
