Fontana motorcyclist, 20, dies in crash

FONTANA >> A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in a crash in Fontana, according to the San Bernardino County coroner’s website.

About 10 p.m., Kalani Sonny Santiago of Fontana ran a stop sign at Cherry and Banana avenues in Fontana, about a mile south of Kaiser High School, and collided into a vehicle turning onto Cherry, Fontana police and the Coroner’s Office said in separate releases.

Santiago was brought to Kaiser Foundation Hospital, where he died, police said.

Fontana police are investigating the crash.
