RANCHO CUCAMONGA >> Authorities have identified a man killed Friday night in a solo-vehicle rollover crash on the 210 Freeway.

Angel Gabriel Zegarra Palacios, 21, of Los Angeles, was pronounced dead at the scene, coroner’s officials announced this week.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m. California Highway Patrol officers responded to calls of a solo-vehicle crash on the westbound 210 Freeway near the Archibald Avenue off-ramp.

The 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, being driven by Jessica Marker,of Glendora, veered to the right shoulder at an undetermined speed, crashing and flipping onto the embankment, according to a CHP news release.

The car came to a stop when it crashed into a light pole, crushing the car’s roof.

Palacios suffered massive blunt force trauma in the crash, and Marker was ejected from the car. She was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. Her condition wasn’t released by officials at the time of this report.
