Ontario woman killed in solo crash in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA >> An Ontario woman died and her passenger was injured in a solo-vehicle crash Monday morning.

Shortly after 9 a.m., Nieshia Johnson, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene when the car she was driving struck the center median in the 10800 block of Sixth Street in Rancho Cucamonga, according to a sheriff’s news release.

Her passenger, Jerrell Bailey of Rancho Cucamonga, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team is trying to determine the cause of the crash.
