FONTANA >> A man was seriously hurt when he was struck by a vehicle late Wednesday night in Fontana, according to initial police reports.
The crash was first reported around 11:45 p.m. in the 9200 block of Sierra Avenue.
The man was taken to the hospital and is listed in serious condition, officials said Thursday.
The driver stopped at the scene and was released after being interviewed by officers, Fontana police Sgt. Kevin Goltara said.
Fontana police are investigating the incident, but Goltara said the incident “does not appear to be criminal at this time.”
