DUI checkpoint planned for Friday night in Chino

CHINO >> Chino police plan to set up a DUI checkpoint somewhere in the city Friday, April 21.

While police didn’t give the location, DUI checkpoints are often positioned in locations based on collision statistics and frequency of DUI arrests, according to a Chino Police Department news release.

The checkpoint lasts from 8 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday. Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Also, they’ll be ensuring drivers are properly licensed.
