Crash in Rancho Cucamonga causes power outage

A single-vehicle crash into an electrical pole caused a power outage in Rancho Cucamonga Sunday evening, according to a Rancho Cucamonga police tweet.

The outage is located in the vicinity of the crash, which happened on Etiwanda Avenue north of Saddleridge Drive according to the police tweet.

The Southern California Edison website indicates the outage began about 6 p.m. At 7:45 p.m., the outage was said to affect 118 customers and power was estimated to be restored to most of them by 2:30 a.m. Monday.
