Rancho Cucamonga motorcycle deputies crash into each other Thursday afternoon

RANCHO CUCAMONGA >> Two San Bernardino County deputies on motorcycles crashed into each other, sending both riders to the hospital, officials announced Thursday.

“At around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, two Rancho Cucamonga Police Department motor deputies were involved in traffic collision near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and East Avenue,” sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Jacob Bailey wrote in an email.

Both deputies sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation and no other vehicles were involved.
