COLTON >> Police are searching for the man who smashed a motorist’s car window and robbed the victim at gunpoint Friday morning, officials said.
The victim was in his car in the 1200 block of Highland Avenue around 6:30 a.m. when a man in his 20s smashed the victim’s window and took several items from the vehicle while brandishing a firearm, according to a Colton police statement.
It’s unclear if the gunman ran off, or fled the scene in a vehicle. Anyone with additional information can call the Colton Police Department at 909-370-5000.
