POMONA >> The Pomona Police Department will check for driver impairment at a DUI checkpoint Friday night.
Officers will operate the checkpoint between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday at an undisclosed location, the department announced on its Facebook page.
While the checkpoint’s location is not being advertised ahead of time, they’re typically set up in areas known for either collisions or frequent DUI arrests, according to a department news release.
Officers will also be ensuring motorists are properly licenced.
