FONTANA >> Investigators are searching for two men who tied up a truck driver with zip ties and stole two diesel trucks and two flat trailers loaded with stacks of pallets, officials said.
Late Wednesday night, a driver was in his trailer at a pallet yard in the 8000 block of Lime Avenue when he told San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies he heard voices and stepped outside to investigate, according to a sheriff’s statement.
The victim said he was reportedly ambushed by two men and forced to the ground at gunpoint. The men then bound the victim’s hands and feet with zip ties.
The men took the victim’s cell phone then allegedly stole the two trucks and trailers. Investigators said the victim last heard them driving north from the yard.
