Deputies need witnesses to Rancho Cucamonga hit-and-run that left one injured

RANCHO CUCAMONGA >> Deputies are searching for a driver who struck a person then reportedly drove off early Thursday near the intersection of Kenyon Way and Milliken Avenue, officials said.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. The person’s condition is not known.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials, witnesses said around 4 a.m., they saw a dark unknown-make sedan strike the person then drive away, according to a statement. The vehicle sustained extensive damage to the front end and windshield.

The Major Accident Investigation Team will conduct the investigation.
