Victim of motorcycle-versus-SUV crash in Pomona identified

POMONA >> A motorcyclist killed when he crashed into a Nissan Pathfinder in Pomona was identified Friday by the coroner’s office as 24-year- old Eduardo Jaramillo of Pomona.

The collision occurred about 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Towne Avenue and Phillips Boulevard, Pomona police Sgt. William Tucker said.

Jaramillo was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, Tucker said.

“The driver of the vehicle remained at the location and cooperated with the investigation,” Tucker said.
