Chino DUI checkpoint results are in

CHINO >> A recent DUI checkpoint netted three arrests, the Chino Police Department reported Tuesday.

Officers set up a checkpoint in the 14400 block of Pipeline Avenue between the hours of 8 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release. During that time, officers arrested one for driving impaired either by drugs or alcohol and two others on drug offenses.

Chino police also checked drivers’ licenses and found of the 773 motorists who passed through the checkpoint, 11 were driving without one or driving on a suspended license, officials said.

One car was impounded.
