ONTARIO >> The eastbound 10 Freeway at Milliken Avenue was shut down for nearly three hours after a propane tanker truck overturned Wednesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash was first reported around 5:30 a.m. One person was hurt, but the extent of the person’s injuries was not clear. However, incident reports show that the injured person was able to walk to the top of the Milliken Avenue offramp where the person was met by paramedics.
Crews were able to right the toppled tanker around 8:30 a.m. and reopened all lanes a short time later, according to the CHP website.
The crash led to heavy delays on both sides of the freeway with motorists on the eastbound lanes being diverted off the roadway at Haven Avenue, officials said.
There were concerns of a possible leak, according to CHP reports, but authorities say there is currently no hazmat situation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
