LA VERNE >> A one-vehicle crash in the 1300 block of Bonita Avenue between Third Street and Esther Avenue knocked down a power pole and has diverted traffic.
All eastbound traffic on Bonita Avenue is being diverted south to Third Street, the La Verne Police Department said at 2:30 p.m.
Only one lane of westbound Bonita Avenue is open and Southern California Edison is on the way, officers say. They advise people to avoid the area.
