Ontario police plan DUI checkpoint Friday

ONTARIO >> The Ontario Police Department is planning to hold a DUI checkpoint somewhere in the city Friday night to catch impaired and unlicensed drivers.

The checkpoint will run from 6 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday. The location was not disclosed.

Police officials promise only momentary delays for motorists. Trained officers will evaluate anyone suspected of driving intoxicated, according to an Ontario Police Department news release.
