Fontana man dies in 210 Freeway crash in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA >> A Fontana man died after crashing his sedan on the 210 freeway near the Interstate 15 interchange, coroner’s officials said Sunday.

Joel Gonzalez, 19, died after rolling over several times down a hillside of the eastbound 210 near the Rancho Cucamonga and Fontana border, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.

California Highway Patrol officers found his body in the driver’s seat of a white Nissan Sentra at about 9 a.m., officials said.

The crash is under investigation.
