The crash on Mt. Baldy Road north of Shinn Road was reported just before 10 p.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the 2004 Honda — identified by the coroner’s office as Anthony Macias of Ontario — was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:25 p.m., according to the CHP.
A passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Montclair, sustained a broken right wrist, swelling to face and complained of pain in his right shoulder, the CHP reported.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were believed to have been involved in the crash, according to the CHP.
