Los Angeles couple killed in 10 Freeway crash in Redlands identified

REDLANDS >> A Los Angeles couple killed in a crash Thursday morning on the westbound 10 Freeway, at California Street, in Redlands has been identified, California Highway Patrol officials said.

Raul Serrano, 22, who was the driver, and Juliet Solis, 31 both of Los Angeles, were killed when their Ford Explorer drove off the roadway and struck a palm tree, prompting authorities to issue a SigAlert.

The crash was reported just before 6:30 a.m.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but a final determination is pending the results of a toxicology report, according to a CHP news release.
