SAN BERNARDINO >> A person was killed early Monday morning after a car apparently rolled off a freeway and landed near 30th Street and Little Mountain Drive in San Bernardino, according to California Highway Patrol reports.
The fatal crash was first reported just after 3 a.m., according to the CHP incident log.
A witness spotted a white vehicle on its roof and reported that it appeared the vehicle smashed through the guardrail and had come off one of the nearby freeways, either the 210 or the 215, reports say.
The San Bernardino County coroner was called to the scene about 20 minutes after the initial call, according to the log.
CHP, San Bernardino police and San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials were called to the scene.
Information on the person who died was not immediately available.
