LA CRESCENTA — Two big rigs collided on the Foothill (210) Freeway in La Crescenta today, shutting down the westbound lanes for nearly three hours and backing up morning rush-hour traffic.
The crash took place on the westbound 210 Freeway near Ocean View Boulevard about 3:50 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos. The collision shut down all westbound lanes at that site so debris and spilled fuel could be removed, he said.
Some lanes were reopened about 6:40 a.m., the CHP reported.
No injuries were reported. The crash was under CHP investigation.
