DEVORE >> A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer shut down all the lanes of the southbound 15 Freeway at the 215 Freeway for an hour in Devore Wednesday morning, leading to a major traffic nightmare.
The crash took place just after 5 a.m. Wednesday and involved as many as 10 vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol incident log. Authorities reopened the southbound lanes of the freeway around 6 a.m., but the crash caused traffic to pile up for about 10 miles, according to reports.
Several injuries were reported, but the extent of those injuries were not clear.
A SigAlert was issued for the area, and CHP and rescue personnel were on scene.
