Five killed in Ontario car crash

Four adults and a child were killed Thursday night during a two-car crash in Ontario, officials said.

Ontario police officers responded to calls of a car accident near Vineyard Avenue and G Street shortly after 7 p.m..

Police shut down the eastbound 10 freeway onramp at Vineyard during the investigation.

It was not yet clear if those killed were occupants of one vehicle or both.

The Highway Patrol says the cause of the crash is unknown.
